Once again the ooBible team worked tirelessly through SuperBowl Sunday to deliver you three key improvements.
- Abbreviations
What’s that you say? Auto-complete is nice but you also want to type ‘ge’ instead of ‘Genesis’? Well, fret no more. Abbreviations are here to stay. We now recognized over 300+ abbreviated variations of book names. We also made them available in your notes. If you add an abbreviated cross-reference in your note, we automatically convert it into a link.
- Top Bar Redesign
The top bar has once again been redesigned for simplicity. We had too many “things” going on in the previous design so we simplified it further, and made the three core value proposition obvious.
- Bookmark Ribbon
We now have the concept of a bookmark ribbon and it works the same way as your print-based bible. Move your ribbon to the current page and you’ve now bookmarked your location. We’re starting out with just one ribbon first and seeing how you react to it. If everyone likes it we may introduce a second so you can bookmark both your old and new testament reading locations.
- Grouping Highlights
We put a lot of thought into presenting highlights in a logical manner. The old design made each verse highlight an entry of its own. We recognize you tend to bunch your verses together. In this new re-design, we group sequential verses together. We also recognize that if you change the verse color, it should be a different group.
Enjoy!
