Since launching dictionary and commentary a few weeks back, we’ve been constantly improving the resource system. Here are the following additions:
- Strong’s Concordance
Tradition has it that in order to use Strong’s concordance, you have to read it in KJV. With ooBible, you can view Strong’s from ANY translation. Simply click Strong’s Concordance from the Explain menu and click on any verse.
- Explain Window
The new Explain window pops up when you select a commentary, concordance or dictionary. You can move it to any area and resize it to your liking. ooBible will remember your position and size preference. If you leave it open and select different explanations, it will open tabs and you can toggle between them.
- Verse Notes Beyond 140 Characters
You can now write verse notes and not be limited by 140 characters. The notes will still show up on the right side but now it will have ‘…’ if it goes beyond 140. Click on it to view the complete note.
We still have a few more finishing touches but we feel we’re almost there in building a full resource system. After this there will be even more commentaries (commercial), illustrations, timelines and plenty more to come.
