JOB DESCRIPTION

eBible is seeking a highly capable Android developer who is passionate about the Bible, mobile technology, elegant user experience and the Christian faith. You will be joining our mobile team in building the Android app version of eBible.com.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full ownership and creative freedom in building the ultimate Bible app on the Android platform.
  • Contribute as a team member in the design and implementation of the eBible application platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for the Bible and the Christian faith.
  • Good English proficiency in both written and verbal communications.
  • You must be able to express your ideas and communicate well in a team setting.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in full-time Android development.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Sound judgement in designing simple, intuitive and elegant products.
  • Strong attention to detail.

OPTIONAL

  • Experience in Ruby-on-Rails for backend integration and connectivity.
  • Experience in iPhone/iPad development using XCode and Objective C.

Not yet. But a print-friendly version of your notes + scripture is being planned.
