We hope everyone had a great holiday and didn’t contribute too much to the extinction of the chocolate Easter bunny. Ignoring the theme of the season we have decided to name this release ‘Wasabi’, for no other reason then it happened to be what was in front of us while we were discussing what we should name it. Along with this release comes some new and delicious treats:
- Added the KJV to the bible browser
- Added account management options for changing password and managing future content
- Fixed some technical and usability bugs that were on the list for awhile
The main thing that has kept us busy over the last few weeks has been the eBible store where you will be able to search and purchase from literally thousands of books and bibles. We are really excited about launching the new store as well as continuing our work on the eBible.com search site. There is still a ton of work ahead but we are excited in the direction we are headed and can’t wait to implement some of the new features we have been planning!
I can’t remember if it was doing this before, but it seems to reset the multi-pane view to single-pane (and to your default bible version), every time you click a link.

The “Remember Me” no longer seems to work. When I close my browser and re-load ebible.com it says “Login unsucessful”.

Hey Dave, thanks for the questions. We’ll leave it up to our users to determine the difference but some of the things WE are excited about are:
We enter beta on Tuesday and this will mean opening the doors to more and more people but development will be ongoing. Lots to come, but hope you like what you see so far!
I would very much like to see NIV up there too. It’s a great middle-of-the-road trans.
