Power Tip 1: Search

Welcome to eBible! Here’s a few things you can do in eBible.com to make the most of your Bible reading experience.

Prioritize by Testament

You can do interesting things such as prioritizing by new or old testament.

Exclude Keywords

You can do restrictions by using the “-” symbol in front of a keyword.

Search for "Jesus Baptism" but exclude "Galilee"

Exact Keywords

If you do a search for “John Jesus” we will prioritize your search to the book of John because book keywords have a higher priority. However if you want your search to expand beyond just the book of John, then use double quotes to indicate this is an exact keyword search.

how do I do a search for two key words. For instance, I want to search all verses that have the word “love” and the word “keep”. When I just search love keep, it pulls up all the verses with either love or keep or both. i just want the verses that have both.

Just type “love keep” and the search system will automatically put any verse with both words as a higher priority.
